Coach Hassani Borrice
My name is Hassani Borrice and I was Born in Toronto, Ontario but raised in Trinidad and Tobago. When I returned to Canada, at the age of 12, I took an interest in Basketball. I had never heard of the sport, and was unfamiliar with the rules but something about "The Game" pulled me in.
It wasn't long before I was playing on my high school and then college teams. I excelled in ball and it rewarded me! All the hard work and endless hours of training opened doors for me. From playing JUCO to Division 1, Semi Pro in Tennessee, and finally playing Overseas Pro in France, Germany, Philippines and Spain... Basketball took me there.
This intricate sport has opened many doors during times in my life when many were shut. The knowledge I have gained along the way, has proven useful both on and off the court. I am thankful for where Basketball has led me and I look forward to this next opportunity Coaching with CYDC.
